At Naman Vidya, we teach both western as well as Indian classical dances. Indian Classical dance has three main components - nritta, nritya, and natya. Nritta is the footwork and body movements, natya involve expression and acting. The combination if nritta and natya produce nritya , the complete classical dance presentation.

Children belonging to this club are taught histrionic skills, but before they can display their skills on stage, they must learn the basic elements of drama. Initial warm-up exercises consist of voice training and body movements. They are given specific situations to respond to and characters to impersonate. Added to this is instruction on on-stage behaviour- positions on stage, coordination with other actors, following cues etc.
