Naman Vidya School was founded in 2005 by Naman Vidya, a non-profit society registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. It is a CBSE-affiliated, English-medium secondary school.
To strengthen the Indian tradition of education, which started several millennia ago, for the development of the nation – at par with the best in the world and in tune with the timeless values of India.

Hazaribagh literally means "a place with a thousand gardens." The British developed the picturesque town of Hazaribagh (formerly known as Hazar Bag) at an elevation of 615 meters on the Chhotanagpur Plateau. Grey hills stand sentinel over the region, adding to its scenic charm.
Known for its salubrious climate, Hazaribagh has long held a reputation as a health retreat, attracting more health seekers than tourists. The natural beauty of Hazaribagh National Park is undeniably captivating.
The principal administrative center is Hazaribagh town, located at the highest point of the plateau, approximately 2,000 feet above sea level.
The nearest airport is in Ranchi, located 91 km away. It is well-connected to Kolkata, Patna, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Delhi through regular Indian Airlines services.
The nearest railway station is Hazaribagh Town Railway Station, located 10 km from the school. It serves the city of Hazaribagh in the state of Jharkhand and falls under the Dhanbad division of the East Central Railway. The station is situated on NH-100 in Kumhar Toli, Hazaribagh district.
Hazaribagh town is connected by road to Ranchi (91 km), Dhanbad (128 km), Gaya (130 km), Patna (235 km), Daltonganj (198 km), and Kolkata (via Asansol–Govindapur–Barhi, 434 km).
Regular bus services connect the town with Koderma, Ramgarh, Patna, Gaya, Ranchi, Dhanbad, Daltonganj, Kolkata, and other nearby locations.

The school provides to and fro transportation service for classes Prep. to X students using buses. Students are forbidden from entering the driver's cabin. Students are collected/ dropped at the fixed pick-up / drop-off destinations only in the presence of parents/ guardians.
